National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) and should have completed 17 years of age as on the date of the examination.
Exam format: The NEET exam consists of 180 multiple choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology) and is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based)
Duration: The duration of the NEET exam is 3 hours.
Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be awarded 4 marks, and for each wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted.
